Application Engineer

The position of Application Engineer in Europe, focusing on Sales and Service support for CNC machines, requires a professional to play a crucial role in the selling process and after-sales activities. Responsibilities include conducting feasibility analyses, time studies, and providing support for CNC machine orders. The candidate must collaborate with dealer companies and end-users for turnkey projects, offering expertise in pneumatic and hydraulic work holdings, indexers, high-pressure pumps, parts probing, and tool monitoring. Additionally, the role involves basic training for dealers/users, programming skills (especially 5-Axis), modifying surfaces using CAD-CAM, and participating in trade show demonstrations.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in English (other languages are advantageous).
• Technical application engineer background with 3-5 years' experience in Milling Machining Centres.
• Essential 5-Axis programming skills.
• Experience in dealing with end-users and dealers.
• Familiarity with working with Asian (preferably Japanese) manufacturers.
• CAD/CAM programming expertise.
• Good knowledge of tooling application and cutting process improvement.

Other conditions:

• Location: Düsseldorf, Germany (not a Home-Office position).
• Full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
• Business trips within Europe (20-25%).
• Salary and compensation commensurate with experience.
