SALES AREA MANAGER US – US / CANADIAN citizen

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for innovative solutions? Then It is time for you to

join our team! We are seeking a dynamic sales area manager for US market to further

consolidate our leading position and grow our customer base in the United States.

In this position you will be responsible to increase CEAD customer base in assigned regions,

maintain CEAD leading position and bringing onboard new qualified prospects. You will be

involved in the entire customer journey: from lead generation, sales prospects qualification ,

sales visits, technical sales & application engineering consultancy to CEAD configuration

solution definition, negotiations till project kick-off and customer consultancy service after

solution installation. You will be involved in strategic activities with our network of global

customers; flexibility to undertake various different business like exhibitions, business trips

and visit in CEAD HQ is a must. This position will report to the company Head of Sales, based

in CEAD HQ (Delft).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reach assigned sales target goals in assigned territories. Leveraging on new and existing

customers. Assigned territories are:

o United States / Direct and/or indirect management of other territories can be

requested

• Precise, punctual in reporting & updating CRM software;

• Ability to proactively organize business trips in assigned territories

• Generation of market insights needed for marketing department to implement correct

strategies and support business development in assigned territories

• Strategically find and evaluate new partners. Ability to Manage external partners like

agents and/or reseller

• Create valuable connections in assigned territories and develop network suitable to

increase business penetration and order intake

• Sell and manage sales opportunities in complete autonomy up to deals of Million euros.

Autonomy to prepare strategic commercial proposal

• Weekly reporting to direct manager about trends, results in assigned territory. Ability to

generate strategy in assigned territory to increase order intake and profitability.

• Participate in Trade fair, customer visits , active involvement in events and customer visits

(at CEAD premises, in the Netherlands – and internationally;

PERSONAL SKILLS & MUST HAVE

• Mother tongue in English language, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability & propension to act as team player and be open to share information with

colleagues. Sharing is key of success in CEAD

• Ability to technically understand customer goals , definition of correct technical solution.

• Ability to use CRM software

• Deep knowledge of Office package & Excellent Excel skills

• Preferably engineering background

• Knowledge or interest for 3D printing and /or CNC machining is considered a plus

• Curiosity to learn new technologies

• Transparent approach with customers & colleagues

EXPERIENCE

• At least three/four years of successful sales experience. Both direct and indirect sales

• Experience in managing and navigating complex sales cycle , used to continuous

improvement approach and changes within the sales process

• Proven experience in managing an assigned territory in full autonomy

• A previous experience in application engineering is considered a plus

• Experience in High value OEM producing complex machinery is considered a key element.

• Market segment knowledge of one or more of the following market segments is a must:

Aerospace/Defense, , Maritime, Building & infrastructure, Architecture & design, Maritime

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is principally responsible for the sale of DMG MORI products to provide innovative solutions to

customer work requirements on DMG MORI machine tools. The position reports to the Regional Sales Director on the

development of prospective accounts and retention of current customers.

Essential Job Functions:

• Building and fostering customer relationships.

• Partner with engineering staff for demonstrations.

Minimal Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited university and 5+ years’ of B2B relevant sales.

• 2-5 years in B2B sales/Business Development.

• Recent experience in machine tool environments preferred.

Work Environment:

General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which

may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual

machinery.

Physical Demands:

focus on printer manufacturers and the dental market segment in Europe to join our

sales team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the sales of our 3D

printing supplies and services throughout the dedicated channels. The ideal

candidate is a motivated, willing to travel and experienced self-starter with a track

record of success in customer relations. You have excellent communication and

interpersonal skills, ideally be knowledgeable about the 3D Printing industry and

materials

• Identify potential customers and build relationships in the related markets

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, chemistry, or

related field

• Proven track record in sales, ideally with printer manufacturers or in the dental

markets

• High interest in technical products

• Proven success in material sales, customer relations and business

development

• Ideally experience in or deep knowledge of 3D Printing industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM (ideally Salesforce)

• Fluency in English, any additional languages are a plus
