Job Title: Sales and Operations Support Specialist
Location: St.Louis, Missouri
Salary: Up to $60k

Overview: A company specializing in precision manufacturing is hiring a Sales & Operations Support Specialist to join the team. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the business unit, including customer support, order fulfillment, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving business growth and expanding our company's presence across North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee product and technical sales support for inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and web orders.
  • Respond to customer requests for quotes on standard and customized product solutions.
  • Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, including customer requests, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Handle vendor purchasing and receiving to ensure product availability.
  • Provide support for special projects as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate database records.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and best practices.
  • Willingness to learn and engage with technical product details.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, ACT! CRM, or similar accounting and database software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality to foster effective collaboration.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement for both personal and business growth.
  • Ability to embrace change and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • 2+ years of customer service and sales experience.
  • Technical focus is preferred and tech-savvy!
  • BS/BA degree in any discipline and/or relevant work experience is required.
