Job Title: Senior Applications Engineer

Travel: 25-50%
The Sr. Applications Engineer is responsible for executing engineering projects, supporting customer needs, and contributing to the success of advanced manufacturing solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing engineering projects to assess technical feasibility, including project planning, execution, and presentation to clients.
- Conducting complete turnkey projects, including planning, preparation of tools, fixtures, and consumables, and ensuring quality results.
- Creating and delivering technical presentations for a range of audiences, including customers, engineering staff, sales teams, suppliers, and management.
- Providing technical feedback on applications developments and suggesting improvements for future machine enhancements.
- Offering advanced application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution both remotely and on-site.
- Training customers and internal teams on new technology, aiding in production ramp-up when required.
- Participating in customer meetings, exhibitions, and other sales-related activities.
- Demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with effective communication of outcomes to stakeholders.
- Exemplifying interpersonal skills, accountability, and a collaborative approach.
- Performing other relevant duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Master’s preferred).
- 3-6 years of experience in programming and operating additive manufacturing machinery (DED or L-PBF).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration skills, focusing on building win-win relationships with stakeholders.
- Customer-centric mindset with effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for diverse audiences.
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office, CAD, CAM, and simulation/analysis software.
- Must qualify as a "US Person" under ITAR regulations to work on export-controlled projects.
Work Environment:
Work occurs in manufacturing settings, including assembly, machining, and quality control facilities, as well as office environments. Exposure to noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other machinery may occur.
