Job Title: Application Engineer
Location: Frankfurt, Germany
Salary: €70k - €100k
A metal additive manufacturing solutions provider is hiring an Applications Engineer to join it's team in Frankfurt.
The company in question caters to a wide range of industries, including aerospace, energy, medical dentistry, industrial tooling, automotive manufacturing and more.
For this role you will need at least three years of experience with metal 3D printing, as you will need to utilize your knowledge when communicating with and training customers both on-site and remotely.
You will be responsible for:
- Resolving technical issues during the 3D printing process
- Providing technical sales support to the business development team during the sales process.
- Provide a bespoke consultation to customers across many market segments.
- Understand customer needs and find a suitable solution based on the company's portfolio.
- Participate in additive manufacturing trade shows.
- Conduct training programs at the customer site and at the demonstration center.
What you will need:
- Fluent in English (both oral and written).
- Hold's a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- The ability to travel +30% of the time with the possibility of this increasing to 50% in the long term.
- Experience with industrial metal 3D printers.
