The Repair & Calibration Technician is responsible for repairing, calibrating, and adjusting a wide range of test and measurement equipment across electrical, flow, pressure, and temperature disciplines. This hands-on role is central to delivering high-quality results with quick turnaround times, both in-house and at customer locations when required.
Key Responsibilities

Repair and calibrate multi-parameter test and measurement equipment across diverse industries.

Perform on-site calibrations at customer locations, ensuring a professional and customer-focused service.

Diagnose faults to component level using circuit diagrams; perform precise soldering and fault-finding.

Locate and interpret technical specifications; generate accurate calibration records and detailed certificates.

Protect the integrity of reference standards and test equipment.

Meet turnaround and quality KPIs while maintaining strong throughput.

Accurately record results and job progress in the service system; provide timely updates to operations and administration teams.

Contribute to continuous improvement of test techniques and the calibration/repair portfolio.

Maintain a tidy, well-ordered workspace in line with quality and safety standards.
Essential Competencies

Diploma in electrical technology (or similar) or equivalent practical experience.

Background in instrumentation, calibration, or electrical/electronic repair.

Demonstrated ability in component-level repair, circuit diagram interpretation, and high-quality soldering.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office with accurate data entry and reporting skills.

Strong mathematical skills applicable to measurement and calibration.

Familiarity with quality systems/standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025 principles) is advantageous.
