Quality Engineer I
Your challenge
Job Responsibilities: • Perform change control tasks as assigned • Directs the analysis, inspection, design, test and/or integration to assure the quality of products or components • Apply statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate current process and process changes • Assist in developing new approaches to solve problems identified during manufacturing and/or quality assurance processes • Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodologies, quality plans, and associated reports • Produce and/or evaluate fixture design • Maintain a part change log or BOM for fixtures. • Develop, execute and establish quality KPIs as directed by Quality Management • Present data to management using Excel, Power Point, mini-tab or Power BI as needed. • Support Product/process assessment, CAPA, validations and continuous improvement activities • Report to management on quality issues, trends and losses as identified • Completes MMDS & SPoT process for new materials and products • Create, revise and update quality related documents • Provide assistance in risk management activities • Provide assistance in external and internal audits • Other duties as assigned

Your Profile
Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering field or related field or minimum 3 years experience with Associate degree • 0-3 years of experience in high volume regulated manufacturing industry in engineering field. • A broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control • Diverse knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques, and
documentation. • Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets and databases • Must be able to record and interpret data to present data in various forms • Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, and develop conclusions • Experience on CAD/SolidWorks • Knowledge of Six Sigma, lean and Quality Management Tools • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documents • Working experience on CMM programming • Ability to work independently and take initiative • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Excellent communication, analytical, trouble-shooting and interpersonal skills • A team player as well as the ability to work independently
Physical Requirements: • Must be able to sit, stand and walk for up to 8 hours. • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
