Primary Responsibilities
• Identify potential applications for Metal Powders produced by INDO-MIM in the North American market (USA, Canada & Mexico).
• Make visits to potential customer locations and conduct customer education presentations, technical discussions to evaluate a given application.
• Effectively use Sales Force platform to log sales promotion activities and review RFQ/ Quote pipeline on a weekly basis.
• Conduct marketing campaigns promoting INDO-MIM Powder capabilities through email campaigns, conducting webinars, phone calls etc. on a regular basis and evaluate the efficacy of the efforts from time to time basis.
• Effectively use the prospecting tools like internet-based customer data base, web search, cold calls, networking. A monthly report to be generated covering the activities like number of prospective customers evaluated, sales promotion visits made, brochure/ samples mailed etc.
• After successful closure of the order, closely interact with the teams at the plant and customer teams for a smooth and timely introduction of the programs into production. Your role would be to arrange for all the necessary information including smooth and precise communication between the relevant teams within INDO-MIM as well @ customer end.
• Develop suitable sales promotion plan for the region in the form of participating in trade shows, print media advertisement targeted to a specific industry etc. These plans should be finalized by March each year end and implemented between April-March
Additional Duties
• Provide after sales support to existing customers. Maintain high level of customer confidence at all times through continuous, professional and precise communications.
• Involve closely with quality/ delivery issues when they arise and support customer in all the possible ways to retain customer confidence with Indo- MIM. Involve plant personnel on both the technical and commercial issues to the extent possible and required while dealing with quality/ delivery issues.
• Closely coordinate with the quality team at the plant in resolving quality issues on any program at the customer end.
• Closely coordinate with the design/ engineering team at the plant on design change requests from the customer.
• Closely coordinate between the customer AP and INDO-MIM AR team when the delinquency in the AR arises.

Specific Goals
• The goal is to generate $ 5 million worth market base in the first 18
months • Develop a minimum of 6 new viable customer base for the Powder
products in the first 12 months.
Preferred qualification • Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Industrial engineering with 4~8 years of
industrial experience preferably in sales / customer support / product development area.
• Aptitude for sales and people skills is extremely essential for the position. • Working knowledge of metal powder applications & additive manufacturing
field & basic understanding of metallurgy and metal applications is a must.
