A company that specializes in Metal Injection Molding is hiring a Business Development Manager to join the team on the West Coast.

About the Role:

As the Business Development Manager for Metal Powders, you will be responsible for identifying potential applications for the high-quality metal powders in the North American market (USA, Canada & Mexico). Your primary focus will be on developing and nurturing relationships with potential customers, conducting product presentations, and promoting our capabilities through various marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential applications for Metal Powders in the North American market
  • Conduct customer education presentations and technical discussions
  • Utilize Sales Force platform to log sales promotion activities and manage RFQ/Quote pipeline
  • Execute marketing campaigns including email, webinars, and phone calls
  • Generate monthly reports on prospecting activities and sales promotion visits
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth production introduction
  • Develop and implement sales promotion plans including participation in trade shows and targeted advertisements

Additional Duties:

  • Provide after-sales support to existing customers and maintain high levels of customer confidence
  • Coordinate with quality and engineering teams to resolve quality and delivery issues
  • Assist in resolving design change requests and accounts receivable delinquency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering with 4-8 years of industrial experience
  • Aptitude for sales and strong interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of metal powder applications, additive manufacturing, and metallurgy
