Job Title: Senior Control Engineer
Salary: $110-$120k
Location: Massachusetts 

A pioneering leader in the field of Automation Manufacturing, specializing in the development and integration of industrial robotic arms, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Engineer. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing control systems that are critical to the operational efficiency and innovation of our production lines. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in robotics and automation engineering, coupled with a passion for tackling complex engineering challenges.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust control algorithms for industrial robotic systems.
  • Implement control systems from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring they meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate and optimize overall system performance.
  • Conduct system modeling, simulation, and analysis to predict performance and identify potential issues before full-scale production.
  • Provide technical leadership in control systems development, guiding junior engineers and participating in peer review processes.
  • Lead troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives for existing systems to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in automation and control engineering.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in control engineering, specifically with industrial robotic systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and experience with motion control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and robotics algorithms.
  • Experience with CAD software and system simulation tools. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of leading projects and collaborating effectively with diverse teams.

 

Desirable Skills:

  • Prior experience with robotic automation in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations pertaining to robotic systems.
  • Experience in developing custom control solutions for complex automation challenges.
