Company Overview Uniformity Labs develops breakthrough material and software solutions to accelerate and expand global commercial/industrial 3D printing (AM) markets. Its patented technology uniquely enables groundbreaking improvements in throughput and reductions in residual stress across materials and platforms in laser powder bed fusion printing. In Binder Jetting, Uniformity powders deliver fully dense parts with minimal sintering shrink, resulting in the ability to manufacture to otherwise unobtainable high precision, material mechanical properties, and part surface roughness. Uniformity’s feedstock materials and print processes dramatically impact the AM value chain by increasing the reliability and efficiency of printing. This opportunity is in Fremont, CA. We offer competitive compensation, medical, dental, vision & voluntary life coverage and a generous 401(k) match. Position Software Application Engineer In this role, you will develop, test, qualify, implement, and maintain metal 3D printing build preparation slicing strategies. Simultaneous optimizations of the software code, troubleshooting technical issues on the hardware (3D printers) and software, printing, and validation will be conducted, and you will be expected to contribute across all facets of the process. Using the best software development and additive manufacturing practices, you will create code to generate complex build strategies within the Uniformity Labs process workflow, including generating build files, testing, and printing.
